Hand printing ready for delivery

Fabric is a living component of work in our print shop. Before the arrival of the textile industries, fabrics were hand-woven on artisan looms. Women kept a room in their homes for this important activity. Printing was done afterwards manually, using pear wood
plates carved by hand, as in our artisan workshop.
